Booked and Plated with Amy Ogden
Your food is incredible. Your events run like clockwork. So why aren’t you booked out? On Booked & Plated, chef turned web designer Amy Ogden helps independent caterers see that getting booked isn't a ‘you’ problem, it's a ‘systems’ problem.
After 25 years in the culinary field, Amy knows you already trust systems with everything from prep lists to pre-event checks. Your website should work the same way. A pretty site isn't enough. You need something sustainable that's constantly working in the background to keep new clients coming in.
In quick 3 to 5 minute episodes every Monday and Tuesday, Amy breaks down the barriers that might be costing you clients, the bad advice keeping you stuck, and what the most-booked caterers have working behind the scenes. No jargon, no lectures, just back of the house talk with someone who has been on both sides of the pass and both sides of the screen.
The rush is over, flip over a milk crate and let's chat; or book a tour at bookedandplated.com to learn how this done-for-you website system goes live one week from your build date.

About the Host
Amy Ogden is a chef turned web designer and the founder of Booked & Plated, a done-for-you website system built exclusively or independent caterers. She graduated culinary school in 1995 and spent the next 25 years working nearly every job a kitchen has to offer, from five-star resorts and fine dining to Caribbean dive bars.
In 2017, back-to-back Category 5 hurricanes, Irma and Maria, tore through St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands where Amy and her husband Chris had settled. With no jobs in sight, she combined her culinary background with her graphic design degree and started a cooking blog. She quickly realized she loved building the website more than writing about food. One referral turned into two, and a web design business was born.
As her client list grew, Amy noticed a pattern. Business owners were spending good money on website that looked great but didn't bring in new clients. The missing piece wasn't design. It was a system. And nobody understands systems better than caterers, who run their kitchens on them every day, with standardized recipes, checklists, and pre-event checks. So she built Booked & Plated as a sustainable system that works in the background towards one job: getting your next client on a call with you.
On the show, Amy breaks down which barriers are stopping potential clients from booking a call with you, and what it looks like when a website pulls its weight. Episodes run three to five minutes, so you can listen while you prep or on the way to your next event. Hit subscribe so you never miss an episode.
